I've always dreamed of hearing them live one day. You have a Merry Christmas as well. Love you too.Music Eloquencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01844044834998570479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2932668973619468380.post-22874820186707172952007-12-18T11:37:00.000-08:002007-12-18T11:37:00.000-08:00Hi Von de Leigh. It's my favorite time of the year, and I never even tire of hearing carols played on the radio.

I'll name a couple: Myles Young, Mariah Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2932668973619468380.post-5615977478550236612007-12-11T09:52:00.000-08:002007-12-11T09:52:00.000-08:00I apologize James. I'm not certain of their titles: John Lennon's "So this is Christmas.. what have you done?"; and George Michael's "last Christmas I gave you my heart...[la la la]".... There's something about their melodies that are so sad.
Absolute favorites are:
-"O Holy Night" David Phelps
-"Happy Elf" Harry Connick Music Eloquencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01844044834998570479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2932668973619468380.post-55819795459211059142007-12-09T00:24:00.000-08:002007-12-09T00:24:00.000-08:00Cool! I've never even heard of David Phelps...I'll have to check him out.
Yeah, we're playing the "Carol of the Bells" one for our Christmas party too! We rehearsed today and it went pretty good. It's fun! Too bad the low "d" on the keyboard I'm using gets stuck and I have to pull the key up with my fingernail as I play. hahahahaha!
Hey, so what about you? It went awesome. Is that the one you're doing?

I've heard Beyonce's "Carol of the Bells." That is pretty incredible too. I'll have to listen to Crystal Lewis's album. She has been a vintage favorite of mine... as well as Bryan Duncan.

You won't hear David Phelps on his own album sing like he Music Eloquencehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01844044834998570479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2932668973619468380.post-15880930692696769262007-12-08T10:41:00.000-08:002007-12-08T10:41:00.000-08:00Well, I'm a rocker, evidently, because I love Tran...Well, I'm a rocker, evidently, because I love Trans-Siberian Orchestra. (Playing it with a band at the Wilson's house next Saturday for C&C) I'm also very much the traditionalist, I love Crosby and Sinatra. Jackson 5 is fun, and I also love Alan Jackson (country). He's got a great cd. My "funny" one right now is Destiny's Child (Beyonce)..it is sooo ghetto, but it's cool too! It makes me laugh.
